Harrison

I just came all over her pussy and my dick isn’t even going soft. This woman has wrecked me.

“Take me home, Harrison,” she says, her accent lilting her vowels. “Make me your wife in every way.”

I do my best to stuff my still-hard cock back into my boxers and zip up my jeans. Then I zip up hers before grabbing her hand and pulling her out of the field to head to my truck.

Once we hit the more well-lit areas, we start to run into other people walking around. Plenty of them speak to me, mentioning my singing, as they always do. Birdie beams up at me as if she’s so proud to be here, on my arm.

One thing becomes clear—I could love this woman. Hell, I think I already do. Yeah, we’ve been married for eight months. And yeah, we haven’t seen each other in that time, but it doesn’t mean I haven’t done things to get to know her.

I’ve spent eight months following all of her social media. I’ve bought and learned to play every single game she’s ever designed. I’ve watched movies she’s recommended and books she’s read. I’ve been a true and proper stalker. I know she loves eighties and nineties science-fiction movies. And that she has a slight addiction to bear-shifter romance which, in all honesty, is pretty easy to get addicted to. There’s something so compelling about the notion of fated mates.

“What did my brother say to you?” I finally ask once we’re alone inside the cab of my truck.

She rolls her eyes. “He’s a pretty boy accustomed to getting attention. I wasn’t interested.”

“He knew who you were.”

Her mouth opens and a ‘V’ forms between her brows. “And he still came on to me? What a scoundrel.”

“He was trying to get to me.” I shake my head as I cup her cheek. “It’s obvious you’ve got some kickass skills, but I want you to know that I will always take care of you. And no matter what Hayes actually said, he’s harmless.”

“You and he are nothing alike.”

“Yes, I heard plenty of that growing up.”

She laughs.

I start the truck and drive.

“It’s a wonder he still behaves that way. Surely he learned when the two of you were children that your way is much more pleasant and appropriate.” She bites down on her lip. “Except in dark places when your mouth gets a bit wicked.”

“Do I need to apologize?” I ask.

“No. I liked it. Probably too much. It was very arousing, all the things you said.”

“Good. I’m going to say one more thing about my brother, then I only want to talk about us.”

“Alright.”

“Hayes has always been the charming one, the hot one, the preferred one. He was the twin everyone wanted. Not me.”

“Well, you’re the twin I want. The only man I want,” she says, her voice breathless.

“Fuck, I like to hear you say that.”

“How much further until we’re home?”

“Is something wrong?”

“I’m just aching, and I need you.”

“Goddammit, Birdie, you’re fucking perfect. Do you know that?”

She laughs.
